In a low-key, learn-at-your-own-pace style of teaching, we spend five evenings, Monday - Friday from 5:30 - sunset, learning the basics of how to sail a small keel boat, a 22’ Pearson Ensign or a 24’ Quickstep, which are great boats to learn on.

In the company of other sailors, you’ll practice rigging and unrigging the sails, sailing on and off the dock, sailing through the points of sail, basic navigation using paper charts, reading the wind, water, and tides, knot tying and cleating, and sailing terminology.

Not only will you learn the ropes, we hope you’ll learn the love of sailing!
