SUMMER PROGRAMS WITH SAILING SHIPS MAINE

Sailing Ships Maine programs help youth build self-confidence, develop critical leadership and teamwork skills and open their minds to new life possibilities.

Sailing a tall ship is a hands-on team learning experience. Each student has their own bunk aboard ship and together the students and licensed professional crew cook, sail, and explore the islands and waters along the Maine coast. All while learning nautical skills in a non-competitive educational environment, now accepting students entering grades 6-12.

Summer 2024 - Maine Outdoor Learning Initiative (MOLI) Sailing Program

“Governor Mills’ Maine Outdoor Learning Initiative is a statewide effort to increase student access to hands-on outdoor learning experiences and career exploration.

These 2024 programs are available to middle and high school students across the state FOR FREE. They offer outdoor opportunities for students to learn about and interact with nature through hands-on learning adventures. Many initiatives also allow students to explore outdoor and nature-based careers.”

Set your sights on a unique overnight adventure at sea. No prior experience required.
We look forward to sailing with you!
